Max man is 1!!!! July 13, 2009

Max man celebrated his first birthday in Homer, AK (he is so cool).  He was a little skeptical about the cake at first but eventually warmed up to the idea (and crammed as much as he could in his mouth).

Wow… I am wishing this blog didn’t date each entry- I apologize for the long delay on the blog. The Miller’s have had a very busy summer so we have alot to catch you up on! During June we visited Boulder, CO for one of Jackie’s workshops. Max and Adam enjoyed some time in Estes Park (pic of max in the field below). Then in late June we headed to Anchorage, AK to see Max’s favorite aunt Leslie and favorite uncle Harry:) Max enjoyed his first camping trip and stayed in a “yurt”. I asked Max what his favorite parts were… but I couldn’t quite understand his answer. However, my guess is that he really enjoyed playing in the mussels that Uncle Harry gathered each evening (eventually to be cooked in a garlic/white wine sauce), he loved morning canoe rides with mom and dad, and he was just worn out from our long day hike.
