In the Miller house, we spend about 90% of our time in character. The characters are assigned by our resident thespian, Max. In these productions, Max is the director, lead actor, and a (critical) audience member simultaneously. And as director, he likes us to stick to his script. Oh and did I mention he prefers very obscure bible characters? Poor Bo spends a good deal of time as Abinabdab. (Nothing like a 3 year old to motivate a little bible trivia brush-up). One story transitions seamlessly (and without warning) to another, kind of like a weird dream. We will start out with Jonah in the belly of the whale, load up a bag of Andy’s favorite toys for the dump, and then be thrown down into the lion’s den. We are pretty busy. One of Max’s favorite bible character is David the shepherd. Neither Adam nor I are big fans of scary movies or creepy Halloween get-ups. So when Max wanted to dress up as David, we were quick to support that. And what good is a shepherd without a sheep?!

I really love the description of Max and his list of characters. Who knows, he might be the next budding director to hit Hollywood with his chrisitian characters and story lines. He definitely has a huge imagination! The costumes are so cute and Bo is the sweetest little lamp I’ve ever seen. You all are truly blessed.
Love to all,
Mom
